What do I need to do before a facial?
- Stop prescription retinoids at least 4 to 5 days ahead.
- Stop strong exfoliating acids, including glycolic acid and at-home peels, at least 2 to 3 days ahead.
- Bring a list of your current medications for your esthetician.
- Wait at least 2 weeks after laser, Botox, or filler before a facial.
These steps let us give you the full treatment on the day.
How often should I schedule a facial?
Every 4 to 6 weeks is a good rhythm. Skin cells turn over about every 28 to 40 days, and that slows with age. Regular visits keep the skin maintained, not just corrected after the fact.
Can I schedule a facial after Botox or filler?
Wait 2 weeks after Botox or filler before any facial.
What is the downtime after a facial?
Most facials do not need recovery time. Extractions, massage, or other work can leave the skin a little pink for a few hours.
Afterward, wear SPF every day, drink water, and skip strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours.
How long does a lash lift last?
Lash lifts and brow laminations usually last 6 to 8 weeks. With careful aftercare, they can last longer.
What can I expect from a chemical peel?
You leave looking refreshed. Our AHA peels need little or no downtime. You may feel a light tingle while the peel is on. Your esthetician will keep you comfortable through the treatment.
Chemical peel facials are not available for first-time clients.
